Grupo Ubesol held this Friday, December 16, the IV Annual Meeting, which was aimed to review the milestones achieved in 2022 and inform about the forecasts for 2023 to all its 800 employees.

Grupo Ubesol CEO, Jorge Úbeda, highlighted the importance of always putting the customer at the centre of all decisions, since it is the best way to create products of the highest quality, the distinction that runs through the DNA of Grupo Ubesol.

In this IV Annual Meeting, which was held online, José Manuel Soler, Deputy CEO, People & Sustainability, stressed that, despite the complex economic situation, marked by inflation and difficulties in the supply chain, the company has maintained the highest quality in all its products. In addition, thanks to the great work of the purchasing and planning teams, it has overcome obstacles to continue serving clients on time.

Grupo Ubesol progresses in its international expansion with the incorporation of new clients to its portfolio, which provide it with experience and increase its specialisation in the categories of Personal and Home care, especially in the development and manufacture of shampoos, shower gels, deodorants and wet wipes.

With the aim of continuing to improve, the CEO also indicated that it is essential to create synergies with the best suppliers, to make them partners in the great innovation that it carries out in its products and services.

In the field of sustainability, the company has taken great steps by starting up one of the largest photovoltaic plants in the personal care industry, with which it produces 20% of its energy demand and prevents the emission of 1,300 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Looking ahead to next year, Grupo Ubesol will present its new Sustainability Plan, to set its own goals in terms of reducing plastic, waste and energy consumption, with which it seeks to be a company that is increasingly respectful of the planet.
